I'm in the fil-ums

Quite a while ago I was asked to participate in a short documentary film about complementary therapy services offered at my hospital - the Royal Free Hampstead. I agreed, because, as you know, I usually have plenty to say. This was an interesting little film because it was actually made by a film student who was looking at using film in dance and movement and she was interested in the movement of massage as well as its importance.
So she interviewed me and I yabbered on and then she edited it and interviewed lots of other people and came up with her finished product which is now available to view on the hospital website......
I think they've done a bum job of uploading it and it seems to freeze my browser - Firefox - it may be different with other browsers or by downloading it. Do let me know if you have any luck with it or if it's a pain - I'll complain about it then :)

It worked just fine (and I use Firefox, too). It made me want to go and get a massage - it has been ages. If this service were offered in my hospital, I would definitely take advantage.
And you do have lovely curls...xo

It crashed safari and firefox on Mac OS X straight off for me. I roped in Mr D and his Windows laptop, where it "only" froze IE when we tried to stream it. We took this as an encouraging sign, then tried to download it directly (rather than playing through browser). It took a long time, but it ran fine once we'd done that! Granted, our broadband's pretty poor over here (even at maximum service levels :( ) and the file is over 38 mb, which is probably what's causing the problems.

Anyway, all that aside, it was a nice filum and you come across really well, Em! Would offer to send it to you so you can have a look, but not sure of the best way - let me know if you have any ideas.
